Hey everybody, Dr. Kelly here from Hands on Health to share my infertility story with you all.
One out of eight women struggle with infertility at some point in their lives, and I am in that number. Infertility and infertility treatment can be emotionally (and financially) draining to go through, but I hope my story gives others who are struggling a bit of support by reminding you that you aren't alone.
While I was lucky enough to eventually receive a positive pregnancy test after infertility treatments, this isn't the case for many. Spreading awareness about the different outcomes infertility and infertility treatments can have is paramount to normalizing conversation around this problem.
Though my journey may not look like yours, the experience has translated into my physical therapy work at Hands on Health, and serves as a permanent reminder to always be patient, supportive, and understanding with my clients.
